This medieval dagger is quiet a find being in a fine state considering its age and a larger example as most pieces are a slimmer in overall dimensions.
These Ballock daggers where increasingly popular throughout medieval Europe but not many complete examples can be found still intact with all the original wooden handle.
The hilt is simple design with a sculpted wooden grip, with iron pommel cap, iron pommel cap,
The blade is in excellent shape and is the traditional double edge design
