A 16th Century European Stiletto Dagger.
The whole dagger is a solid iron construction, the handle is comprised of a figure with head as pommel. The detail of the hilt is quiet interesting and unusual as not many of these examples are in circulation.
The blade is a stiletto type, very thin but sturdy with a single fuller and perforations.
This is a truly amazing piece which should belong in a museum and sought after historical weapons.
