Description
These are 2 original advertising calendars for 1907 and 1908 from "Youth Companion". Measuring 7 3/4" x 11 3/4", they each consist of 4 lithographed pages. The 1907 includes: "In Venice" by Thomas Moran (small spot lower left); "Spring Blossoms" by Maud Humphrey; "Morning Serenade" by H. Giacomelli and "The Blacksmith Shop" by Luis Mora. Beautiful antique calendar. The 1908 includes: "Nearing Port" by Marshall Johnson; "Mill at Zaadam" by W.J.Kaula; "Cattle and Landscape" by Emile Van Marske; and "Girl with Roses" by William McEntee. Overall very good condition, except for the 1908 ribbon deteriorating and a 1" tear on the left margin. Both antique calendars for one bid.
