    Description

    A GERMAN TWO-HAND SWORD SWORD, SECOND HALF OF 16th CENTURY
    with broad double-edge blade with a mark inlaid in latter on one side, struck with a series of small marks within the short fuller on both side, and the Picasso with two additional  fullers, iron hilt formed with slender bars of diamond section, comprising horizontal quills with swelling faceted tips , inner-and outer-ring-guards previously filled with a plate, faceted fig-shaped pommel, and later grip bound with fish skin, blade: 38 1/4 in , 48 inches overall .
