About Komlós Brothers:
Miklós and István Komlós established their ceramic workshop in 1931. They began to craft ceramics valued by the people. Their themes were involved around the cheerful moments and life situations of peasant and civil life. They became very popular with their colorful art deco artworks with shiny glazed surfaces and with the more traditional bright green glazed figurines. They opened their second workshop in Budapest. In the 1930's they have received multiple orders from United States and Italy. The brothers participated with their artworks in 1940 at Triennale di Milano.
Their artworks are still sought after and are very popular among collectors.
