    Description
    Here is a nice 17th century cutlass short sword with a curved blade and maker's mark in good original condition. The surface has a nice dark patina from age and the original wooden handle is tight with no looseness which can be seen in the photos. The blade has the maker's mark "I.P." near the tip of the blade. In total measuring 17.8 inches long and the blade measures 12.5 inches long. Originally from Edinburgh, Scotland from a gentleman's collection.
