RARE 1942 BRASS STAND UP DESK ADVERTISING CALENDAR WORTENDYKE RICHMOND VIRGINIA

Description

This is a REALLY nice vintage sales calendar that is in a very nice decorated brass easel back frame. This item is marked "Wortendyke Manufacturing Co. Richmond, Va." around the company's hallmark design and this is
a very nice and clean item. It has spectacular color, clear print, sharp edges and a nice "hang up" chain. The easel back portion is unbent and it is as manufactured.
The stand up calendar frame measures approx. 3 1/4 inches by approx. 4 1/2 inches. The color is bright and uniform. The brass portion is very nice, clean and uniform in color. The paper calendar is complete and only the "January" sheet shows the slight edge wear and discoloration.
This is a great Virginia advertising item that you will not find in better condition.
This nice item was found with a number of other
calendars,
a number of other vintage brochures, catalogs and paper ephemera that all dated from around 1910 to about 1949.
Again, the edges are very nice. The sharp corners would normally show the slightest bit of wear at best. This item is virtually perfect.
