Tang passes through a steel hand guard, tipped with turned brass ends and continues through a solid tang handle, then riveted over a round copper pommel. Overall length 11.75", good used condition and sound. Unmarked, this style is often seen in eastern European states, a popular and sturdy, rugged design. Last owner says it was liberated from a German mountain chateau in WW2 near Nuremberg. All original, ship weight is 2 pounds.
